Summary of cover
Loss of or damage to the Insured Sailboard including theft (but excluding theft of unsecured gear, fittings or equipment unless stolen with the Insured Sailboard) and including Third Party Liability in respect of the Insured Sailboard and contingent Third Party Liability by the proposer in respect of any other Sailboard - limit £3,000,000.

The policy provides for full 12 months in commission and returns of premium are payable only in the event of cancellation of the policy following the sale of the Sailboard.

Excess
The Assured will bear the first £50 of each claim. The excess does not apply to the Third Party Liability claims.

Geographical Limits:-
Cover is provided whilst in use, ashore and in transit in the specified cruising range. Six months after the commencement of the policy, cover will be automatically extended to include 4 weeks use in any country in the Continent of Europe.

Warranties
1) The insured sailboard must be kept ASHORE when not in use.
2) The insured sailboard must be used for PRIVATE PLEASURE PURPOSES only.
3) The insured sailboard must be maintained in a seaworthy condition.

Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) - All premiums quoted are inclusive of IPT at the current rate of 5%

Exclusions
1) Loss of use.
2) Scratching, bruising and third party liability claims whilst in transit.
3) Wear and tear, depreciation and deterioration from use.
4) Personal effects.
5) Theft of unsecured gear, fittings or equipment unless stolen with the insured sailboard.
6) War and strikes etc. risks.

This policy is underwritten by certain Underwriters at Lloyds.
